This policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it when you use Inkantation (the “App”) and the website inkantation.shop (the “Site”). The short version: Inkantation is built to keep your data on your own devices.

1. What we collect

Almost nothing. We don’t collect your camera video or your reference images. The only personal information we hold is the email address tied to your purchase, and your payment is handled entirely by Gumroad.

2. Your webcam

The App uses your computer’s webcam to read your hand gestures. This happens entirely on your own computer, in real time. Your video is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or to anyone else. Nothing from your camera leaves your machine.

3. Your reference images

Images you send from your phone go to the App running on your own computer, over your own local Wi-Fi network. They are not uploaded to us or to any server we control.

4. Purchase and payment information

When you subscribe, Gumroad — our merchant of record — processes your payment and collects your email and billing details. We receive your email and basic order information so we can deliver the App, your license key, receipts, and support. We never see or store your card details.

5. How we use your email

Only to deliver your purchase and license, send receipts, provide support, and — if you choose to opt in — send occasional product updates. We do not sell your information.

6. Sharing

We don’t sell or rent your data. We share only what’s necessary with Gumroad to process your order, and anything we’re legally required to disclose.

7. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party analytics.

8. Your choices

You can cancel your subscription anytime through Gumroad. You can also ask us to delete the personal information we hold (your email and order records) by emailing us, subject to any records we’re required to keep by law.

9. Children

Inkantation is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; we’ll post the new “last updated” date here.
